Gratitude Tip 2: Gratitude Journal
Keeping a gratitude journal is a great way to develop the daily habit of thankfulness. Decorate the cover of a notepad and call it your own. Design and customize the cover of your “journal” with decorative papers, stickers, fabric, ribbons, stamps and colored inks, and other fun embellishments. You will need scissors and glue for this project.
Use your journal to write down each day three things you are grateful for and try not to write the same thing twice.
Consider starting an online gratitude email group, and email all the participants your daily gratitude list. The members of your group will help keep you accountable in this daily exercise. Also, reading the gratitude lists of your friends may give you the inspiration you need on those days when you’re feeling less thankful.
